XCviewer vs SeeYou: paragliding flight analysis compared

SeeYou by Naviter is a complete suite for planning, in-flight navigation and analysis, very popular with sailplane pilots. XCviewer is a web platform built for paragliding. Here is how they compare.

The short answer

Choose SeeYou if you want one subscription covering a desktop program, a cloud app and an in-flight navigation app, especially if you also fly sailplanes. Choose XCviewer if you fly paragliders and want a free start, 3D replay with paragliding-specific analysis, video export and paragliding weather.

Choose SeeYou if…

  • You want an in-flight navigation app (SeeYou Navigator) together with your analysis tool.
  • You fly sailplanes or competitions and use TopMeteo or SkySight forecasts.
  • You prefer a desktop program that also works offline (SeeYou for Windows).

Choose XCviewer if…

  • You want to start for free, without a trial period.
  • You want paragliding-first tools: KK7 thermals, climb and glide analysis, FAI triangles and XContest-style scoring.
  • You want cinematic 3D videos of your flights.
  • You want weather, webcams and a flyability score for your flying sites.
