Choose a public or private account

Free accounts now pick one of two options. Nothing becomes public until you choose, and you can change your mind in Settings → Flight visibility.

• • Public: unlimited storage. Your flights appear in the community under the username you choose, 24 hours after upload. Up to 1 upload a day, 3 a week and 50 a year.
• • Private: only you and the friends you choose see your flights, unless you make a single flight public from your logbook. Up to 2 stored flights, 1 upload a week and 5 a year.
• • Pro: unlimited and private by default. You can make your account public whenever you like.

What a public flight shows

Your username, the track on a relief map (to about 100 m), the takeoff place and country, the date and the flight stats. Signed-in pilots can replay it in 3D, but nobody can download your flight file. You can hide where you land in Settings.
