Is flyXC free?
Yes. flyXC is free and open source, and its development is funded by donations. XCviewer has a free plan (3D replay, graphs, weather, 2 saved flights) and a Pro plan for planning tools, unlimited flights and video.
Does XCviewer offer live tracking?
No. XCviewer works with the IGC file after the flight. For live tracking, flyXC is a great free option, and you can open the same flight in XCviewer afterwards.
Which XC planner should I use?
flyXC’s planner is free and quick to use. XCviewer’s planner, in Pro, adds FAI triangle optimization, wind-aware glide calculations, 3D terrain and an airspace profile along the route.
